Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, one of the Country’s leading LGBTQIA+ performing arts organizations for the past 43 years is auditioning new members to begin in January 2022! Rehearsals are Monday nights beginning January 10 and are held at First Congregational Church of Los Angeles FCCLA, and SEASON 43 remaining main series concerts are April 2,3 and August 13,14 at Royce Hall. To apply, please submit a video and state your name, voice part (if known), 30 seconds on your background as a singer, and perform one minute to 90 seconds from one song, a cappella or accompanied, any genre or style. (Don’t stress about production — we are not reviewing video quality!) Please add a photo of proof of vaccination and submit with the video in an email to gmcla.archives@gmail.com by November 5. After reviewing submissions, everyone will be contacted by email as to their status; no phone calls or emails please. If you are invited to move forward you will attend one of our in-person auditions on November 11, 13 or 18 at FCCLA where you will sing and meet the GMCLA team. All information will be provided prior to the audition.
