WATCH: U.S. Artist Visas and International Travel in the Age of COVID
After more than a year of canceled, postponed, or reimagined performances, U.S. arts organizations, presenters, and agents have resumed programming and planning for the 2021-22 season, only to find the U.S. is not quite ready to open its borders for all international artists.
In this webinar recorded on September 9, an expert panel discussed the processes for acquiring artist visas, navigating Covid-19 travel restrictions, and understanding the current policy environment surrounding international cultural activity. Slides and a transcript from the presentation are also available.
This webinar was presented by the Association of Performing Arts Professionals, League of American Orchestras, and Tamizdat, and co-hosted by CMA.
