Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Granada Hills CA has openings for Tenor and Bass Section Leaders / Soloists for the Choir. The Choir is a small ensemble of 10 to 20 singers with a long history of excellent quality liturgical service music. Section leaders are regularly featured as soloists in worship and in concert. We are seeking top quality voices with excellent reading skills, ability to blend in an ensemble, guide volunteer singers and have a focus on helping the choir lead and stay focused on the worship service.

Responsibilities for the position consist of one weekly Thursday night rehearsal from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, one Sunday Morning rehearsal and service from 9:15am to 11:15am, approximately, In addition there will potentially be one Maundy Thursday Service, one Good Friday Service, one Christmas Eve service and a Christmas Concert. Service times may change on festival Sundays such as Easter.

Compensation is paid on an hourly basis at  $35.00 per hour  / $70.00 per call. (i.e if the call is only 1 and ½ hours you are paid for the full 2 hours)
