Did you release a new recording in the 2022 calendar year?

SFCV is publishing its annual roundup of recordings by local artists, both in the SF Bay Area and in the Greater Los Angeles Area. Any genre is fine, but the final roster will be tailored for our classical-music-oriented publication.

- The recording must have a release date in the 2022 calendar year (Jan. 1 – Dec. 31).

- The recording must feature artists that live and perform either in the SF Bay Area or the Greater Los Angeles Area.

- The recording must be available for purchase locally or online.

We have a loose definition for "Bay Area" that embraces musicians and ensembles from as far north as Santa Rosa, as far south as Santa Cruz, and as far east as Davis.

All release formats will be considered (CD, vinyl, eight-track, digital-only, etc).

If you wish to submit a recording for consideration, please send us the title of the album, the artist, a link where readers can purchase the recording, and a short (75–125 word) blurb to Peter Feher, peter@sfcv.org.

Deadline for consideration is Friday, Dec. 9.
