Ventura County Gilbert & Sullivan Repertoire Co. is now accepting video submissions and appointments live auditions for Gilbert & Sullivan's musical/operetta, Iolanthe. Please send submissions to Rebecca at rebecca@vcgsrc.org. Call 805-491-6103 or email for submissions or request for appointment.
Two songs preferred, if one is in a foreign language, the other must be in English. Gilbert & Sullivan music from any of the operettas is fine, but not necessary. Classical, Broadway, Gospel, pop are acceptable genres. Please include resume and headshot (if you have one). All performers must sing, be able to move to music, dancers who sing will have the opportunity to be featured, as well as the named characters described as "also featured dancer".

We are an inclusive group. Some gender bending has been going on in our shows for 16 years. All races, colors, creeds, etc. All body types. Roles for ensemble: Fairies 10-60'sh, Peers 14-60'sh. (Only requirement for the older cast members is the ability to remember songs, dialogue, staging and movement. If you're in your 70's, 80's... and can do all those things, we'd love to have you audition.)

NON-EQUITY. A few lead roles may be paid, depending on experience and distance driven. All other cast members are volunteer. We are a registered 501©3 non-profit theater company.
