Hello, everyone!
As part of the List's new relationship with the HEAR NOW Music Festival (coming next week: April 13-16!), we have the opportunity to offer the Listers some non-performing gigs to help staff the festival. It’s four separate concerts, but all at the same venue: 2220 Arts + Archives, 2220 Beverly Blvd, LA (west of Alvarado).
You don't have to work all four dates -- tell us which ones you could help with, and we'll fit it all together!
Here’s the schedule:
- Thursday, April 13, 8pm (6:30 call time) — Electroacoustic concert
- Friday, April 14, 8pm (6:30 call time) — “Music and…” Multi-disciplinary concert
- Saturday, April 15, 2pm (12:30 call time) — Chamber Concert I
- Sunday, April 16, 5pm (3:30 call time) — Chamber Concert II (finale reception follows)
We need the following for each of the four events:
- Will Call staffers
- Merch staffers
- Ushers
- Alternates — see below for terms
Some slots have already been filled. Pay is $75 per event, including setup and takedown, but we'll keep this as organized and minimal as possible, and we’ll have plenty of hands. You will be able to attend most of the concert as well, although we'll have to rotate FOH to make sure one person is available outside throughout.
Alternates will not be paid for keeping their schedules open, but will receive a free ticket if they aren't booked. We'll let you know at least three hours before call time.
Attire — Whatever you’d wear to a great concert, but not formal.
